Atbash mirrors the alphabet so A becomes Z, B becomes Y, and the same rule decrypts the message again.
How to use it
- Paste text into the input box.
- Read the mirrored alphabet output.
- Apply Atbash again to recover the original message.
- Use Load example to see common Atbash fragments such as GSV for THE.
Options and settings
- Preserve case keeps uppercase and lowercase styling.
- Keep punctuation and numbers leaves unsupported characters unchanged.
- Remove whitespace can create compact puzzle-style output.
- Group letters formats the mirrored text into fixed-size blocks.
Notes
- Atbash has no secret key, so anyone who recognises the pattern can reverse it.
- It is best used for learning, demonstrations, and simple puzzles.
